Born in 1979. Studied in high school in Canada and joined a local creative dance group. Came back to Japan and became a international sales man of electronic components (B2B) and traveled around the world.
After 8 years of working as an international sales, decided to change a career to B2C and to focus on marketing of the local handmade / craftsmanship industry.
In 2015, established a company (Edit Japan) and started to think marketing was not enough for local craftsman but selling their product does more contribute. Also stared considering to develop own brand product with cooperation of craftsmen who would never meet each other and work together as from totally different fields.
Reached to a solid concept of “Artisanal Collaboration” and finally developed a cooking knife “Indigo Bocho” and succeeded to be invested by local crowd funding in 2017.
